Typing in the Editor

The WebCrimson WYSIWYG editor works just like any HTML-enabled editor.

  1. Line Spacing
  2. Drag and Drop

1. Line Spacing

When you hit "Enter", you'll notice that the cursor goes down two lines, not one.  That's because each "Enter" creates a Paragraph tag, which in HTML is interpreted as double-spacing.

If you'd like to have single-spacing, try hitting "shift-Enter".  That will create a break tag (BR), which HTML interprets as a single line spacing.

If you've typed in HTML-enabled email clients like Microsoft Outlook, you should get the hang of quickly.... this is how most HTML-enabled programs work!

2. Drag and Drop

You can select any amount of text using your mouse, and then Drag and Drop that selection anywhere else in your WYSIWYG editor.

That's about it for Typing in the WYSIWYG editor.  You can learn more about other WYSIWYG tools (using buttons to format text, adding links and images, and other advanced options) on the WYSIWYG page.
