WebCrimson's WYSIWYG Editor
WebCrimson's WYSIWYG editor requires browsers that support the CSS2 and DOM standards. While most browsers have strong support for CSS2, currently the only browser which supports the DOM is Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.0+ browsers for the PC.
As a result, the WebCrimson WYSIWYG editor only works on IE 5.0+ for the PC. Of course, WebCrimson still works on all other browsers, with the non-WYSIWYG editors supported by all browsers.
As soon as other browsers offer support for the DOM standard, we will move quickly to support them . That's includes more than just the usual Windows browsers, and (of course!) extends to Mac and Linux browsers as well.
About Web Standards
At WebCrimson, we are committed to supporting web standards.
As a result, WebCrimson will work across any browser that supports web standards (HTML and CSS1). Some popular browsers have quirky support for web standards at best, so we have programmed workarounds to ensure that WebCrimson works with all major browsers (Internet Explorer 5.0+, Netscape 4.0+, Opera 6.0+, and Mozilla 1.0+).
