Using Start Page: Configuring your Personal Settings
Your Personal Settings let you change any of your Account information, or Site information specific to just this site:
Username
This is your username for this particular site.
Your username has to be unique - no two users can have the same Username on a site. Usernames can not have spaces in them, so please limit your username to numbers, letters and underscores.
Email
Every account is tied to a single email. If you change this email, then you are changing your signin as well... so be careful!
Name
Each account has a Name tied to it. This name doesn't have to be unique, giving user a bit more flexibility than the unique Username above.
Password
Each account has a password tied to it (see Signing In for more detail).
Passwords should be between four and sixteen characters.
When you change your password, make sure to type in your old password, and then your new password twice. Both copies of the password need to match the password on file exactly, down to the capitalization of each letter.
Description
This is a description of each user on a site. It appears on the User Info or Manage Users page on your WebCrimson site.
Permissions
This displays your current permissions level.
If you would like a higher level of permissions, you can apply for a new permissions level here.
Your application will be processed by a Site Owner or Administrator.
