Using Editing Interface: Overview of Templates
Templates solve a big problem for websites designers: they separate a website's design (how the site looks) from its content (what the site says).
By separating design from content, it makes it much easier to make a small change to the design of a page. You can just make the change in one place, and the changes will be made on all of your pages.
Template in WebCrimson
Setting up your Templates in WebCrimson really comes down to three decisions:
- Setting up your Templates - First, you choose what type of template you'd like
- Adding Template Tags - Then, you let the template know where you'd like your content to be displayed
- Configuring Template Settings - Finally, you configure your template settings to whatever you'd like
