Configuring your Content Approval Settings

You can configure your Content Approval queue under your Site Settings.

There are two main Approval Settings:

• Automatic - All new content automatically approved for publication upon submission
• Manual - All new content must be approved by a site Administrator before publication

Approving New Updates

If you've set your content to "Automatic" approval, then this page is largely irrelevant.

If not, then this page will display all of the content submitted for publication to this website by WebCrimson users.

That content can take various forms:

• Entries
• Template designs
• Images
• Files

You can Approve or Disapprove of each piece of content individually.

If you Approve the content, WebCrimson will generate the appropriate pages and send to your webserver using FTP.

If you Disapprove of the content, the pages will not be generated or sent to the server.  You will also have the option to send an email to the person who submitted the content, to let them know why you didn't approve their content.

If you'd rather not explain your reasoning, you can always choose to "Skip This Step".
